Dr Mutaz Yousef

I qualified as a doctor in 2007 and initially worked in cardiothoracic surgery before completing my GP training in Derby and gaining my CCT in General Practice.

I am delighted to return to Wilson Street Surgery, where I previously trained, and I am dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to the local community. My clinical interests include acute medicine, cardiology, and respiratory disease, as well as musculoskeletal medicine and minor surgery. These are supported by my background in cardiothoracic surgery, experience in emergency medicine, and my Master’s degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine.

I live locally with my family and am a proud father of three children. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym and visiting the spa, which helps me maintain a healthy balance between work and personal wellbeing.
