Dr Emily Beattie

Derbyshire has been my home from the age of 7, I moved to Derby after finishing university in London in 2010. I trained as a GP in Derby, and first came to Wilson Street in 2015 as a trainee.

I completed my GP training in 2018 having started my family and promptly moved back to Wilson Street. I enjoy working at Wilson Street as a salaried GP as it is a great team to be part of, who take pride in delivering great quality care.

I enjoy lots of aspects of general practice, but mostly the opportunity to get to know people over a long period. I have a particular interest in women’s health and enjoy fitting coils.

I live locally with my husband and 3 boys. In my spare time I am very involved in my local church, I enjoy baking and trying to keep fit with some running and at home Pilates.
