Dr Hesham Moustafa

I qualified as a doctor in 2002 and spent several years gaining extensive experience in general medicine before completing my general practice training in Wales. Having worked across both hospital medicine, including time right here at Royal Derby Hospital, and primary care, I am delighted to join the team at Wilson Street Surgery to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to our local community.

My clinical background in general medicine gives me a strong interest in managing chronic diseases and acute medical problems.

I live locally in Derby with my family. Outside of work, I enjoy unwinding by taking long-distance walks, reading, and travelling whenever I get the chance.
