Patient Participation Group (PPG)

What is a Patient Participation Group?

A group of volunteer patients, carers and surgery staff who meet regularly to discuss and support the running of the surgery.

Patient Participation Groups look at the services offered, patient experience and how improvements can be made for the benefit of everyone.

Each Patient Participation Group is different, but they all have the aim of making sure that the surgery puts the patient, and improving health, at the heart of everything it does.

Join our Patient Participation Group

Patients are encouraged to be part of the Wilson Street Surgery Patient Participation Group (PPG) and we maintain an active list of patients interested in being part of this group.

We have invited interested patients to meetings, but unfortunately the last two meetings had a zero-attendance rate.

We would really value more involvement from patients, while recent meetings have had very low attendance, we are keen to improve this and welcome anyone interested to get in touch. We are exploring new ways to engage patients and would be delighted if you’d like to participate.

If you’d like to join, please complete the online form on the website.

Next Meeting

We always welcome any new PPG members. Why not simply come along to find out what it’s all about.

Next meeting: TBC

PPG Meeting Minutes

Please see below our PPG meeting minutes and reports.

Unfortunately, due to low attendance there have been no PPG meetings in the last 12 months.

We are exploring new ways to engage patients and would be delighted if you’d like to participate.
