District Nurse
A District Nurse is a highly trained registered nurse who provides care to patients in their own homes or community settings. They support people who may be unable to attend the surgery due to illness, disability, or mobility issues, and often care for those with long-term conditions, complex health needs, or who require end-of-life care.
District Nurses can carry out a range of treatments such as wound care, medication support, and health monitoring, while also offering advice and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to help patients remain safely and comfortably at home.
