Enlarging the text on this website

All modern browsers incorporate a zoom function. This does a far better job of magnifying text than a website style change could and so it is best practice to keep websites at a standard size and thus let the user's own settings apply equally to all websites they visit. Otherwise they go to one and the text is too large, another and it is too small.

If you would like to increase the size of the text on our website please click on the link below access the Microsoft instructions on operating the zoom to find out how you can do this. (Other web browsers have equivalent functionality.)

Publication of GP Earnings

All GPs are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in Wilson Street Surgery in the last financial year (June 2016) was £72,902 before tax and National Insurance. This is for 5 full time GPs and 5 part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.
