Dr Jill Fletcher

After nearly 25 years at Wilson Street Surgery I will be stepping down as a partner on the 30th June 2019.

Although I will still be working in general practice I will be significantly reducing my clinical workload and will be focussing on my roles training and supporting current and future GPs.

It has been a privilege to look after my patients and it is hard to go. However I know you are in good hands with the all the other doctors and staff at Wilson Street.

I would like to thank you for the kindness you have shown to me personally over the years.

Dementia services at our surgeries

Improving diagnosis and care of patients with dementia has been prioritised by the Department of Health and in support of this our practice is taking a proactive approach to the timely assessment of patients who may be at risk of dementia.

We can provide 'at risk' patients with an assessment to detect for possible signs of dementia, offer a referral for diagnosis where dementia is suspected and then in the case of a diagnosis, provide a Care Plan in line with the patient's wishes.

 Dementia Care Plan

We have prepared an information sheet detailing support services that are available.
